Specialist Subjects

Art

Conducted by our dedicated Art Specialist Mr Todd. All children from Yr1-6 will explore various mediums and techniques on Tuesday and Wednesday each week.

PE

Conducted by our experienced Physical Education Specialist Ms Sally. All children from Yr1-6 participate in a variety of different sports while
learning fundamental movement skills on Wednesday and Thursday weekly.

Health

Conducted by our Health Specialist Mrs Gray every Friday. All children from
Yr1-6 will learn about the importance of good physical and mental health
weekly.

Noongar

Conducted our Elder in residence Nan Roma Winmar with Ms Tobi every
Thursday. All children from Kindy to Yr6 will focus on learning key words in
Noongar through various mediums including song.

Moorditj Special Programs

Boonderu

Boonderu is a music and mentoring program offered to all students at
Moorditj every Tuesday. Students learn how to play instruments, develop
musical literacy in a fun and supportive environment.

Indigenous Well Being & Sports

Noongar Sports is offered to all Senior Students
every Wednesday and focusses on cultural learning and promoting healthy
lifestyles through sport. It is delivered by Aboriginal mentors weekly.

Koya

Koya is offered to our Middle Primary Students and focusses on healthy
lifestyles and physical activity. Koya is delivered on Fridays each week by an
Aboriginal mentor.
